The circulation of trains in the Nacala-Cuamba section, in the provinces of Nampula and Niassa, respectively, has been interrupted since Saturday, February 12th.

The interruption is due to the blocking of the road following an accident registered in Malema district, Nampula province, involving a coal transport train and a truck.

The accident caused minor injuries to the truck driver and derailed the locomotive. According to a press release issued this Monday by Nacala logistics, the line's manager, it is not yet known when the line may be reopened. However, the company is making efforts to reopen the section.
