INAE launches "legality operation for technical vocational education establishments"

INAE arranca com “operação legalidade de estabelecimentos de ensino técnico profissional”

The National Inspectorate of Economic Activities (INAE) kicks off today, Monday (24), with "Operation Legality of Professional Technical Education Establishments", a national campaign that will run until March 14..

This campaign, launched last Friday, aims to monitor the legal compliance of technical vocational education establishments, ensuring compliance with regulatory legislation, safety standards, infrastructural conditions, hygiene and environmental preservation.

According to the head of Education at INAE, Leonor Mabutana, during this operation INAE teams will check the advertising of establishments, investigate complaints and claims made by consumers and analyze the collection of tuition fees, ensuring that the rights of students and guardians are respected. The inspections will be carried out in coordination with the Professional Technical Education Inspectorate and other competent bodies, in order to harmonize inspection procedures in all the provinces.

"The campaign responds to the need to regularize the sector and the growing concern about the quality of professional technical education in the country. This operation is designed to ensure that establishments comply with current regulations, guaranteeing a safe and structured learning environment for students," added Leonor Mabutana.

For INAE, this action also aims to ensure that educational institutions operate within the established standards, promoting the confidence of students and their guardians in the technical-vocational system.

As part of the monitoring process, a compilation will be made of the main aspects found during the inspection, including irregularities detected, measures taken, recommendations issued and deadlines for compliance.
