Government answers questions in parliament today

The government will, this Wednesday and Thursday, go to parliament to provide information to the deputies around terrorism in Cabo-delgado, humanitarian assistance to the displaced and reconstruction of the province.

The regulations of the Assembly of the Republic provide that in the information session the executive addresses three questions posed by the benches.

The Frelimo bench wants the executive to bring information regarding progress in the fight against terrorism in Cabo Delgado.

The spokesperson for Frelimo, Feliz Silvia, says they still want to hear from the government about the resumption of economic development projects in the province.

For Renamo, according to Arnaldo Chalaua, spokesman, it is important that the government provides information about the entry of foreign military personnel into the country to fight terrorism in Cabo Delgado province.

For its part, the Democratic Movement of Mozambique, according to spokesman Fernando Bismarque, wants the executive to talk about the fiscal impact of resuming the Total oil company's operation in the Rovuma basin.
