The central government will mobilize metallic infrastructures to repair the damage caused on the bridge over the Revubè river in Tete, specifically in the gap opened by the strong currents of water.
The fact was announced at a press conference, this Thursday, in Malei, Namacurra district, in Zambezia, by the Minister of Public Works, João Machatine.
The bridge over the Revubè river, with more than 400 meters that connects the districts of Tete and Moatize was built in 1965 and despite the rehabilitation done in 2019 with an estimated budget of more than three million dollars, it has not withstood the volume of water runoff.
According to João Machatine, the emergency solution will start soon with the mobilization of metallic structures that will be transported to the site.
