Last Friday (02) in Maputo, the Secretary of State for Technical and Vocational Education acknowledged the existence of vocational education institutions that continue to operate illegally in the country.

According to Mety Gondola, who was speaking as part of the process of regularizing technical and vocational education institutions in the country, these entities teach medium and short courses, ignoring legal registration procedures.

Cited by Radio MozambiqueThe government official assured that in order to put an end to the problem, from the coming months the institutions authorized and accredited to teach will be officially published, as we believe that "this can be a support mechanism for citizens in order to know the legal situation of vocational education institutions".

However, as for the process of legalizing these institutions, Gondola assured that everything will be done to preserve the interests of the trainees.
