In Gaza, the provincial government says it is prepared to face possible flooding situations in the current rainy season.

By now, the Gaza Provincial Executive Council has established 279 risk management committees in all flood-prone districts, according to its spokesman, Almeida Guilume.

"Readiness actions were undertaken for the rescue of these people, where 279 committees were established of which, 23 were trained in the economic exercise and also 117 various readiness kits were distributed and those involved were trained for the simulation exercises," he said.
