The government has decided to grant a period of grace for tomorrow, December 31st, to state employees in order to prepare for the end-of-year celebrations..

According to a note from the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, the time off covers all workers and civil servants.

"The right to suspension of work does not cover those who carry out activities which, by their nature, cannot be interrupted, as provided for in Article 3(2) of the Working Hours Regulations," reads a note from the Ministry.
