Giants unite to multiply travel supply

eDreams and Travelport have signed an agreement to strengthen their post-pandemic travel offering.

The partnership between the two online giants will result in the creation of a simplified and more functional travel marketplace.

"This recent step to diversify and enhance the company's offering will enable eDreams ODIGEO to offer more route options to its customers, at even more competitive prices, and with greater flexibility and choice," eDreams said in a statement.

"Over the past 12 months, the group has developed opportunities to grow its business and this announcement is one of many initiatives implemented to continue to enhance its unique customer proposition and lead the market post-pandemic, when it is safe to travel again," eDreams added.

The company has 60 million daily queries and offers more than 9 billion different itineraries, generated by combining flight options from more than 660 airlines.
