The President of the Republic, Filipe Nyusi, today appointed Geraldo Saranga to the post of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Mozambique to the Swiss Confederation.

With this appointment, Geraldo Saranga accumulates the position of Permanent Representative of the Republic of Mozambique to the United Nations in Geneva.

Before this appointment, Geraldo Saranga was director of the Directorate for Legal and Consular Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation.
