Geny Catamo is worth 30 million euros, equivalent to two billion meticais. Sporting will only agree to release the player on payment of that amount to the clubs interested in the Mozambican international's passport.

Geny Catamo became a particularly important member of Sporting's squad last season. However, his future in Alvalade is not guaranteed. With several interested parties in England and Italy, the Mozambican full-back could leave during the summer transfer market and the board led by Frederico Varandas has already set a price.

According to the newspaper O JOGO, in this Saturday's edition, the lions will not stand in the way of an offer of around 30 million euros for Catamo, equivalent to two billion meticais.

With a contract until 2028 and a termination clause of 60 million, Frederico Varandas, along with Hugo Viana, the sporting director, and Rúben Amorim, the coach, believe that the figure is appropriate.

Of this amount, Sporting will only be entitled to 75%, as the remaining 25% will go to Amora's coffers, who will thus be entitled to seven million of the 30.

Last season, Geny Catamo scored six goals and five assists in a total of 41 games played. The Mozambican international was the scorer of the goal that gave the Mambas victory over Guinea Conakry.
