The project office for the creation of the Limpopo Agro-Business Special Economic Zone (ZEEA-L) will be installed later this year in Gaza province.

The guarantee was given, a few days ago, in the district of Chongoene, by the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Celso Correia. "This year the office of the agrarian economic zone will be installed and rules will be dictated to allow us to attract investments," he said.

Correia also revealed that "we already have numerous initiatives. One of them should begin later this year in Massingir. It is commercial agriculture that is intended to be installed in this area, because of the benefits that may arise from it being a special economic zone".

The governor assured that the irrigation areas in the Limpopo Valley will be restructured in order to empower farmers to increase the cultivation areas and consequently the production and productivity.
