Beach soccer: Mozambique in group with Senegal, Malawi and Mauritania

The National Beach Soccer Team is in Group "B" of the African Championship of the sport (CAN), along with its counterparts from Senegal, Malawi and Mauritania, according to the draw made last Thursday (19) by the Confederation of African Football (CAF)..

A publication by Challenge newspaper says that the "Beach Warriors" make their debut in the competition against Malawi, and then face Mauritania and Senegal, the tournament's biggest winners with four titles. The tournament is scheduled to take place from October 19 to 26 in Hurghada, Egypt.

The two finalists of this edition of CAN will qualify for the 2025 Beach Soccer World Cup, which will be held in the Seychelles. This will be the second time Egypt has organized the championship, having hosted the competition for the first time in 2018.
