The Fund for the Promotion of Housing (FFH) is looking for funds to materialize housing projects across the country.
To make the initiative viable over the next 18 months, the institution needs one billion meticais, according to Armindo Munguambe, Chairman of the Board of Directors (PCA) of the HFF, a government institution.
Speaking to "Notícias", Munguambe said that in the second half of next year construction will start on 160 apartments, in what will be the third phase of the Zintava project, in the Marracuene district of Maputo province.
He indicated that during the period in question the construction of 32 houses will be completed in Chimoio, Manica; 25 in Lichinga, Niassa; and the same number in Tete.
Another 25 houses will be renovated in Quelimane, Zambezia, and the same number in Pemba, Cabo Delgado, according to the projections shared by the HFF's PCA.
