The Frelimo party's list of pre-candidates, from which the candidate to run in the seventh presidential and legislative elections to be held next October, is still in the secrets of the gods. 

Meanwhile, the party has announced the creation of the Central Office for the preparation of the presidential elections, whose leadership is in the hands of Frelimo's general secretary, Roque Silva.

The announcement was made yesterday afternoon, 15.02, by Frelimo's spokesperson, Ludmila Maguni, after the end of the 19th Ordinary Session of the party's Political Commission.

Asked about the long-awaited announcement of the Frelimo party's pre-candidates, Ludmila Maguni said that the issue had not been the subject of the session and that the pre-candidates for the ballot could be announced soon in their own forum.

 However, given the timetable for the electoral process, published by the National Electoral Commission, Frelimo has until next March to nominate a candidate to run in the presidential elections.
