Journalists from public radio and television, police officers and agents from the Technical Secretariat for Social Administration (STAE) witnessed the filling of ballot boxes during the 2024 general elections in Angoche district, Nampula province.

The collusion in the electoral fraud took place at table 090962-01 EPC Eduardo Mondlane, and at that moment "the observers from other organizations who witnessed the act, were removed from the room and put in a Mahindra to an uncertain place".

The group of civil society organizations said that cases of ballot box stuffing had been recorded almost everywhere in the country. Most of these occurred in the provinces of Zambézia and Nampula.

People were caught with several pre-voted ballot papers for the benefit of the Frelimo party. There were cases of people voting or trying to vote more than once. Some polling station staff gave certain voters more than one ballot paper.

In Magumbo, Tsangano district, Tete province, observers recorded a case of attempted vote-buying by the Mozambique Democratic Movement (MDM) for Frelimo.

In the district of Maganja da Costa, Zambezia province, there was an attempt to buy the votes of Podemos and Renamo for up to 30,000 meticais.
