The President of the Republic, Filipe Nyusi, visited one of the victims of the road accident caused by his son, Florindo, at Maputo Central Hospital yesterday morning, Friday (12). On his Facebook page, Nyusi pointed out that the only victim who remains hospitalized is now out of danger.

"The medical team providing assistance has informed me that the only victim, that is, the child who is still in hospital, is out of danger. The other was discharged immediately," Nyusi said.

In the same publication, the Mozambican head of state thanked those who had shown their solidarity by sending messages of comfort.

"On behalf of our family, I would like to thank all our compatriots who have shown their solidarity by sending us messages of comfort. We wish the children a speedy recovery and, for the girl who is still in hospital, we hope that she will return to her family and school community as soon as possible," the message reads.
