The Maputo Municipal Council has halted the demolition work on "CASA MACAMO", located in the Polana Cimento neighborhood, in the Ponta Vermelha area, for an indefinite period of time, in order to better investigate the entire approval and licensing process.

The Councillor for Urban Planning, Environment and Construction, Idálio Juvane, said today that "the aim is for construction in the municipality to be in line with what is recommended in the Construction and Building Code and in the land-use planning instruments".
