An employee of the Lalgy company and five other individuals are being held to account by the national police authorities for their involvement in the attempted kidnapping of transport and sports entrepreneur Junaide Lalgy. O The employee was reportedly arrested on Wednesday, and five other people on Thursday.
Recently, Junaide Lalgy escaped an attempted kidnapping in the city of Matola, moments after leaving a mosque. He "controls" the Lalgy transport company and the Black Bulls Association (soccer team).
The information on the arrest of the alleged members of the gang that tried to kidnap the businessman is shared by National Justiceand quotes a police source.
"[The official] has already been sent to the cells, after a case was opened against him with the registration number 6751-10-D⁄23," reads a publication that includes the name of the accused.
The others involved are now in Língamo, says another publication, which expects the police to arrest more people in connection with the case.
