Ossufo Momade, president and presidential candidate for Renamo, will only take part in the dialogue with Filipe Nyusi on the political crisis after the electoral process if all the presidential candidates are present.

"This meeting only makes sense in the presence of all the candidates," said Renamo spokesman Marcial Macome at the end of a meeting of the political committee of the largest opposition party, held this Sunday (24) in Maputo.

Presidential candidate Venâncio Mondlane has already said that he accepts the meeting proposed by Filipe Nyusi as long as it is "virtual".

For this meeting, the Renamo party will bring points such as the annulment of the electoral process involving the October 9 general elections, with allegations of various irregularities, and also wants "all the candidates to recognize that this process was neither free, nor fair, much less transparent," said Macome.

The meeting could take place at Filipe Nyusi's office in Maputo this Tuesday at 16:00.

So far, Daniel Chapo, Frelimo's presidential candidate, is the only one who hasn't spoken publicly about the meeting.
