Brazilian Congress sings "Hail Mozambique, this is our country" and supports peaceful demonstrations

The Public Prosecutor's Office of Roraima, in Brazil, held the third edition of the Congress on Original Peoples and Human Rights, between Thursday, November 21 and Friday, November 22. 

The event, which took place in the city of Boa Vista, was attended by various personalities from that Latin American country and Mozambican poet Énia Lipanga.

Lipanga was invited to speak on "Women's Freedom in Poetry" in the first session of the second day.

The activist also spoke about early unions and human rights, and called on those present to sing, loud and clear, the anthem of the post-election protests: Salve Moçambique, Este País É Nosso!

According to her, the gesture was in repudiation of the Mozambican police force and in support of human rights in Mozambique. "Anyone who can record this moment, please do so, because it is very important to me and to my country." And so it was... During his speech, he said that Mozambique is a country rich in mineral resources, but ranked among the poorest in the world.

He also said that human rights in the country are violated every day, and that it is not easy to live in this context. "I wish I could write about flowers, but it's hard to write about flowers when our lives are thorns."
