Turkish airline Corendon Airlines will allow passengers to travel in an adults-only zone from November onwards.
According to the company, the route - at least for now - that will be able to take advantage of this 'extra' is between Amsterdam in the Netherlands and Curacao in the Caribbean.
According to the international press, booking seats in this area of the aircraft will cost an extra 45 euros. The 'Adults Only' area will only allow passengers over the age of 16. There will be a total of 93 seats for people looking for more silence during their journey.
Although this may seem like an advantage only for passengers who don't have children with them, the founder of the Turkish airline said that it could also be a good measure for parents. "They can enjoy the flight without worrying about the slightest noise from the children," explained Atilay Uslu, quoted by international publications.
The area will be separated by curtains, but also by a wall.
This is not the first airline to have an 'Adults Only' zone, as AirAsia X also has a 'Quiet Zone' where only passengers aged 12 and over can travel.
Other airlines were asked about the possibility of this happening in their companies, but according to the Dutch publication NU.nl, both TUI, KLM and Transavia said they had no plans to make this distinction.
The international publications also point to a study in which almost 601,000,000 respondents argued that such an area "would be positive" on both planes and trains, while 271,000,000 disagreed.
