China has just launched the world's first scientific satellite. It aims to serve the United Nations Organization for Sustainable Development's agenda 2030.
The act of launching took place from the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center in northern China's Shanxi province at 10:19 a.m. (three hours early in Mozambique).
The satellite will now be able to provide space observation data to monitor, assess, and study the interaction between humans and nature beyond sustainable development, all through space.
The launch comes at a time when the COP26 Summit is taking place and actions are multiplying around the world to curb greenhouse effects.
