Chapo makes working visit to Namibia

Chapo efectua visita de trabalho à Namíbia

The Head of State, Daniel Chapo, begins a two-day working visit to Namibia today, at the invitation of his counterpart Nangolo Mbumba.

During his visit, Chapo will take part in the investiture ceremony of Ndemupelila Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah, President-elect of the Republic of Namibia, in Windhoek, and in the celebrations for the 35th anniversary of the proclamation of independence of that country in the southern region of Africa.

Chapo's agenda includes contacts with other heads of state and government who will be present at the ceremony, to discuss matters of mutual interest.

On this trip, Chapo will be accompanied by his wife, Gueta Chapo; the Minister for Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Maria Manuel dos Santos Lucas, officials from the Presidency of the Republic and other state institutions.
