This Monday, in the district of Nangade, Cabo Delgado province, the President of the Republic, Daniel Chapo, is leading the central ceremonies of April 7, Mozambican Women's Day, and the launch of the Flame of National Unity movement.
The act was announced by the government spokesman, Inocêncio Impissa, speaking this afternoon at a press conference held in the municipality of Matola, Maputo province.
The launch of the torch of national unity is part of the jubilee of 50 years of national independence, which will be celebrated on June 25 this year.
It is hoped that the Flame of Unity, like Samora Machel's, will be able to travel throughout the country and will be received at the Machava Stadium on June 25.
