Carlos Mesquita satisfeito com ritmo de obras na N1

The Minister of Public Works, Housing and Water Resources, Carlos Mesquita, expressed his satisfaction with the level and quality of the works underway on the stretch between Inchope and Gorongosa on National Road number 1 (N1) and others in Sofala province.

This demonstration was presented last Friday during a visit to various enterprises located in Sofala province, in the center of the country, as part of the implementation of the government's Five-Year Program.

After touring the Inchope-Gorongosa section, Carlos Mesquita, quoted by the newspaper Notícias, said he was satisfied with the progress of the works, with only a few aspects still to be completed, namely the drainage, which is seen as fundamental to guaranteeing the longevity of the infrastructure.

In this context, on Thursday Mesquita inspected the construction work for a metal bridge over the Metuchira River, in Nhamatanda, and a new one in Metuchira on National Road number 6 (N6), in Inchope and on the N1 on the Inchope-Gorongosa stretch and the Mutua Water Treatment Plant, including the catchment at Dingue-Dingue.

In fact, the minister visited the construction work on the metal bridge over the Metuchira River, which gives access to the N6 on the R1000 road, on the Nhamatanda-Metuchira stretch.
