Cabo Delgado: Terroristas saqueiam bens da população em Macomia

An unspecified group of terrorists looted food and household utensils from the population in Namigure village, which is less than ten kilometers from the Macomia district headquarters in Cabo Delgado.

According to a Letter from MozambiqueAccording to a local source, the robbery took place in the early hours of Tuesday morning (29), but without violence. "The enemies were here, they arrived very early, but they didn't do anything violent. They only took foodstuffs like rice and corn flour, as well as a bucket, and then left," reads the publication.

In the meantime, the theft has been reported to the Defense and Security Forces, namely the Mozambican and Rwandan troops.

As well as Macomia, the terrorists have carried out raids in recent days in the district of Mocímboa da Praia, where three people were killed a week ago after an attack in the town of Oasse.
