Cabo Delgado: Terroristas continuam a circular em Nangade e Mocímboa da Praia

Some regions in the districts of Nangade and Mocímboa da Praia, in the north of Cabo Delgado province, continue to report some movement of terrorists, apparently in search of food.

A publication by media Fax says that despite the passage of terrorists through the villages and agricultural fields, the reports point to relative tranquillity, compared to the reality of recurrent attacks that in the past marked the daily life of those and other districts of Cabo Delgado, particularly in the central and northern regions.

In Nangade, terrorists are reported circulating in the agricultural fields of Chitama, Quinto Congresso and Nkonga villages.

"But even so, there's still no human damage. They only go to these places to ask for food. When they are given food, they receive it, and when they don't find it, they leave" - describes the same publication, quoting a local source, not referring to any case of violence carried out by terrorists in recent days.

In the district of Mocímboa da Praia, there is talk of terrorists circulating in the village of Lucheti. There, the indication is that terrorists have been snatching food products from the population, particularly those resulting from fishing activities.
