Cabo Delgado: IOM has budget deficit for Humanitarian Response

Cabo Delgado: OIM tem défice orçamental para Resposta Humanitária

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) has a deficit of 36,550,000 dollars to ensure the Humanitarian Response Plan in Cabo Delgado province.

The IOM needs 43 million dollars, but has so far obtained 15% of the amount, 6,450,000 dollars.

The organization does not have enough funds to assist more than 150,000 victims of terrorism and Tropical Storm Filipo, which could lead to difficulties in providing basic services.

Thousands of people may find themselves in a more vulnerable situation in the coming months, but the IOM reaffirms its commitment to maintaining its support for those most in need.
