The Secretary General and presidential candidate of the Frelimo party, Daniel Chapo, aims to spread the political election manifesto in Cabo Delgado province.

That part of the country has been facing the phenomenon of armed terrorism since October 2017, which has claimed hundreds of human lives. Several state and private infrastructures have been reduced to ashes.

Aware of these occurrences, Chapo's promise is to literally rebuild the areas where lives and property have disappeared.

During his work in Mocímboa da Praia on Friday, Chapo assured that he will focus his efforts on restoring peace and security, rebuilding infrastructure and re-establishing basic services.

"We are here to sign a commitment to the people of Mocímboa da Praia that it is with work that stability is sought... We are the only party that knows the concerns of this town," he said.
