Mozambican internationals Bruno Langa and Geny Catamo are in the ideal team for the fourth round of qualifying for CAN 2025, according to SOFASCORE, a player evaluation and data website.
The two players were instrumental in the Mambas' three-point win over Eswatini this Monday in Mbombela, South Africa, in the fourth round of group I qualifying for the CAN in Morocco.
Bruno Langa contributed two assists in the game, the first for Dominguez in the 12th minute and the second for Ratifo in the 43rd minute.
The player had the second highest score of the defensive quartet, with 8.4 points, only behind Algerian Ramy Bensebaini (8.4 points), but ahead of Moroccan Achraf Hakimi (8.3) and Congolese Bryan Passi (7.9), according to "O País".
The Mozambican striker scored the national team's third goal, after an assist from Stanley Ratifo. In fact, the performance of the Mozambican winger, who plays for Sporting de Portugal, earned him the second highest score among the eleven chosen, namely 9 points, the same as Moroccan Ben Seghir.
The national team is well placed in the race to qualify for CAN 2025 in Morocco, leading the group with eight points along with Mali, who will be the "Mambas'" next opponents.
