Bill Gates admitted that he was the one who "blew it" regarding his marriage to Melinda French Gates, during a conference that took place last week, sources revealed to The New York Post.
During this engagement, which was behind closed doors, CNBC's Becky Quick questioned the Microsoft founder about his divorce, announced in May of this year.
"He confessed to messing up," the guest said. "He basically mentioned the fact that it was his fault," he further noted. "He seemed a little emotional about it. He may even have been glazed over," he added.
Also during this engagement, Bill Gates did not mention his alleged extramarital affair with one of his employees, which not only lasted for years, but was also the subject of an investigation by the company itself.
