Military plane that crashed was flying without a "black box", assume the FADM

The festival-type training aircraft of the Aviation Training School of the Armed Defense Forces of Mozambique (FADM) that caused two deaths when it crashed last Tuesday (11) in Maputo, was flying without a "black box" at the time of the accident, according to the commander of the Mozambican Air Force.

General Cândido Tirano said that human error and loss of power could be the main causes, but this is still preliminary data and further investigation may reveal other signs.

The official said that a commission of inquiry has already been set up to find out the real causes of the loss of power in the aircraft that took the lives of the two soldiers and displaced a family in the Vulcano area, on the outskirts of the air base in Maputo city.

Witnesses revealed that before the crash, the plane was already unbalanced and leaking fuel until it crashed into a residence, and a wall of the house immediately collapsed onto the plane, which was already on fire.
