The Tax Authority (AT) proceeded this Wednesday to the launch and public presentation of the Mobile Collection Posts. The act took place at Praça dos Combatentes, commonly known as Xikhelene, on the outskirts of Maputo city. These are two vehicles dedicated to the allocation of NUITs, registration of start of activities and tax collection..

The event, which was directed by the Secretary of State in Maputo City, Vicente Joaquim, is part of the actions taken by the AT, in the arduous task of bringing its services closer and closer to the citizens, regardless of their location.

Speaking on the occasion, Vicente Joaquim appealed to the massive adherence of the citizens, in order to acquire, without delay, the NUIT, as well as to be better informed about the procedures to take into account, in the fulfillment of their fiscal obligations and/or the registration of the beginning of activities.

It should be noted that, after the public presentation, the Secretary of State received a brief explanation about the operation of the Mobile Collection Posts, and then proceeded to the symbolic delivery of NUIT Declarations assigned at that location.
