Trump supporters want to make his image in jail more famous than the Mona Lisa portrait

Apoiantes de Trump querem tornar sua imagem na cadeia mais famosa do que retrato de Mona Lisa

The image of former US President Donald Trump in the Georgia penitentiary in the United States is likely to become more famous than Leonardo Da Vinci's "mystical" Mona Lisa portrait.

The idea was expressed by Laura Loomer, a former Republican candidate for Congress, who joined other Trump supporters outside the prison on Thursday morning.

"We want to put it on a T-shirt. It will spread all over the world. It will be a more popular image than the Mona Lisa," she said, quoted by Reuters.

This seems to be the only accurate image of the former President in prison, since on the other occasions he avoided the eyes of the cameras.

This is a police booking photo released by the Fulton County Sheriff's Office after a Grand Jury brought charges against him and 18 of his allies in their attempt to overturn the results of the 2020 state elections in Atlanta, Georgia, USA, August 24, 2023.

Trump faces 13 criminal charges in the Georgia case, including extortion, which is usually used to fight organized crime, for pressuring state authorities to reverse his electoral defeat and creating an illegitimate list of electors to undermine formal congressional certification of Biden's victory in 2020.
