Angola will now waive home quarantine for all travelers coming from abroad. For this, travelers will have to present a complete vaccination and a negative covid test upon arrival.
According to Lusa news agency, the decision was taken by the Angolan government, which did not specify when the measure will come into effect.
It is known that Angola began by imposing quarantines on citizens coming from China in February 2020.
The measure was extended to all travelers from abroad in March, when the African country closed its airspace, allowing only flights for the transport of goods.
Air links only resumed, albeit on a limited basis, after September 21 of last year, with the quarantine still being imposed.
The Angolan government's decision comes at a time when the sanitary fence has been lifted in the province of Luanda.
