The Maputo provincial government, through the National Roads Administration (ANE) will launch this week routine and periodic maintenance works on EN1. Valued at 63 million meticais, the actions aim to contribute to the reduction of traffic accidents.
According to the delegate of ANE in Maputo province, Rubina Noormahomed, in addition to routine and periodic intervention, ANE has another project to improve signage on the EN1 in the section starting at the Brigada Montada in Maputo city, up to Incoluane, the boundary line between the provinces of Maputo and Gaza
"Immediately we will try to place an inspection vehicle to support the district and soon after, we already have contractors to do the maintenance of the entire stretch of EN1, here in Maputo province," said Rubina Noormahomed.
