South Africa is preparing to host the National Arts Festival (NAF) in June and July, considered to be the biggest celebration of African arts.

Recognized for its cultural relevance throughout the continent, the NAF attracts thousands of visitors from all over the world, offering a diverse and accessible program.

It will take place over 11 days, transforming the Eastern Cape into a vibrant center of art, culture and entertainment.

With more than 60 performance venues, including theaters, schools, churches and outdoor spaces, the event is described as a veritable melting pot of creativity. Among its attractions are theater, comedy, dance, music and visual arts.

There are also workshops, lectures, food and craft fairs, not to mention historical tours of the city, giving visitors an immersion in the local culture.

The festival is known for its ability to present modern works of art, often with a strong connection to contemporary events and the social reality of South Africa. (News)
