Adriano Maleiane worried about unfinished works in Gaza

Adriano Maleiane preocupado com obras inacabadas em Gaza

The Prime Minister, Adriano Maleiane, showed concern that the construction work of three health centers, in Gaza province, has been interrupted for more than three years due to insufficient funds.

The governor expressed his concern during a visit to the Muwawassi Health Center, in the Limpopo district, where he learned that the lack of funds makes it impossible to continue the works.

Mulássua Simango, provincial health director, said that the referred health centers are located in the districts of Limpopo, Chókwè and Chongoene.

In response, Maleiane, quoted by the newspaper Notícias, said that it is necessary to be very cautious before opening any public tender for state works.

The Prime Minister advocated better planning in order to prevent state works from stopping in the middle.

"If it happened this way it is because it was not well planned (...) There are procedures that we have to obey to avoid gender situations," he stressed.
