The Prime Minister, Adriano Maleiane, appealed to Mozambicans in the Mozambican Parliament to commit themselves to improving the country's economic situation, which is very much affected by internal and external adversities.

He acknowledged that the prevailing war between Russia and Ukraine is having negative repercussions for the international economy that are mainly reflected in the rising price of oil and wheat.

After speaking of the need for "solidarity and understanding," Adriano Maleiane said it was important that solutions begin to address the instability in Ukraine.

The Prime Minister was speaking at the end of the Assembly of the Republic session for information about the Government.
