Five thousand zinc plates is the total number allocated to displaced people in Cabo Delgado by the Integrated Development Agency of the North (ADIN) and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) earlier this week.
The initiative, which is part of the Stabilization and Reconstruction program for people who were victims of the terrorist attacks in Cabo Delgado, contemplated125 families who had not benefited from construction materials in the previous phases.
It is known that before the donation, the families were subjected to the rains that have fallen in recent days, in addition to being in temporary tents that were already worn out. The local authorities responsible for the distribution of the material promise that soon other families will benefit from 8,000 zinc sheets.
