Global Banking & Finance - an international organization that rewards institutions with impactful and disruptive conduct in the society in which they operate - distinguished Absa Bank for its efforts to promote financial literacy as a way of responding to the challenges faced by the Mozambican population.

Absa Bank Moçambique is now listed in 'The Next 100 Global Awards 2022'. This award confirms the bank's commitment to developing projects that go far beyond primary banking activities, in this case financial education projects, training and capacity building for young people, inclusion and reducing social inequalities in line with the Millennium Goals defined by the United Nations.

Of the various initiatives that Absa Bank Mozambique implemented throughout 2022, the following stand out: the Ready to Work Program (focused on training and sharing tools so that young people can enter the job market and develop a professional career), the Graduates Program (a 10-month professional internship aimed at young graduates who are interested in working in banking or the financial sector in general) and the Financial Education Campaign in Primary Schools at national level (in which the bank's employees, at national level, promoted financial education talks to children from various elementary school, including a school for children with special educational needs).
