The Municipal Police should, as they do downtown, sweep up these toll booths that, from corner to corner, appear like frogs breeding in the ditches. It's the Municipal Police who should put the so-called chamussas in the fees of these toll booths and let their dogs loose on them.

It is the Municipal Police that should rip out those tolls, mess up all the gates and stuff them like sacks of lettuce and tomatoes in their vehicles. That police should chamboque all those tolls with the same force that chases away the sellers of pins and needles on the 24th of July and appear on TV saying: "we seized more than 20 tons of informal tolls".

The City Police should sweep up those Tolls....

So many taxes and so many tolls. And the only toll that has its toll gates withered is that of hunger and poverty. Every day we are swallowed by the toll gates of hunger, unemployment and poverty, and no one is at those toll gates to go down the gates and mutter: "without money you cannot pass.

How many millions and millions would we have if the Government planted fees on the tolls of corruption, theft and embezzlement in ministries? How many wells of millions would we have if we turned engineers and raised tolls and fees on the Government's promises?

And the only tollbooth that has its gates withered is that of hunger and poverty.

And on the back of tolls and fees come companies that ride our pockets like climbers. And none of these fees are used in the chemotherapy of the cancers that eat our roads, none of these fees buy the right graduation of our blind traffic lights that stretch out on city corners like homeless people.

It's normal tomorrow to wake up and see tollbooths set up in our backyards and, with every movement, to be shocked by the faces of the smiling girls at the tollbooths, who only know how to smile and stretch out their hands. It is normal...
