The Mozambique Republic Police (PRM) shot dead 307 people across the country in 86 days of post-election protests, according to the Decide Platform.

According to the civil society organization, 623 people were shot in the same situations.

The data also shows that more than 3,000 people were injured as a result of the demonstrations.

On the other hand, in the course of the demands for the restoration of electoral truth, the PRM illegally detained 4,228 citizens.

The Decide Platform indicates that 20 people are reported missing, including journalists.

"Civil society organizations demand national and international accountability for human rights violators in Mozambique. But also the restoration of electoral truth through processes submitted to the African Commission on Human Rights, the African Union and the African Court," reads a publication by activist Wilker Dias, a member of that organization.
