Venâncio Mondlane pede sugestões de manifestações e pondera “trégua” para reflexão

The independent presidential candidate, Venâncio Mondlane, yesterday called on his supporters and followers to share suggestions for the next demonstrations.

During a live broadcast, he indicated the means by which ideas could be sent.

Mondlane, who is backed by the Podemos party, said that they will be evaluated during a period of respite from the marches, which could be three or four days, "to reflect".

"While the SADC conference is taking place, we Mozambicans are going to hold our reflection conference over the weekend on what kind of country we want," he said.

Today, as part of the calls for demonstrations by the presidential candidate, the country is going through the first stage of the fourth phase of protests. This stage began on Wednesday and ends today.

This time the protests have been called for urban centers and borders.
