Officers from the Police of the Republic of Mozambique (PRM), some in plain clothes, entered some neighborhoods in Maputo city this morning, where they fired lethal bullets at people. Two deaths and one gunshot victim have already been recorded.
A video shows police in the Alto Maé neighborhood "shooting to kill" in what are said to be measures to contain the demonstrations and a possible coup d'état this Thursday.
The Center for Democracy and Human Rights (CDD) reported two deaths of young people.
In the Malanga neighborhood, near Alto Maé, a woman was shot in the head. It is not known what state of health she is in.
In the Jardim neighborhood, there are reports of a "rain of bullets".
