Maputo City Council has announced that traffic will be restricted on Joaquim Chissano, Acordos de Lusaka and Milagre Mabote avenues from today until November 1st for drainage works.

The work consists of excavating and installing pipes as part of the implementation of the Maputo City Sewerage Rehabilitation and Modernization Project.

According to the city council, in the case of Avenida Joaquim Chissano, the road will be restricted to the stretch between Avenida Acordos de Lusaka and Avenida Milagre Mabote.

On Avenida Acordos de Lusaka, traffic is restricted between Praça dos Heróis and Rua 1376 (entrance to Shoprite Supermarket), while on Avenida Milagre Mabote, traffic is restricted between Rua Estevão Chali and Rua 1376/Reinata Sandiba.
