The National Electoral Commission (CNE) could announce the final results of the presidential, legislative and provincial assembly elections on October 9 by the 24th of this month..

According to CNE spokesman Paulo Cuinica, quoted in a publication by the NewsThe body is currently receiving material from polling stations abroad, namely South Africa, Eswatini, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Tanzania, Malawi and Kenya, which make up the African constituency, as well as from Portugal and Germany, Europe and the rest of the world.

"We are already receiving the materials from the countries where the vote took place. We believe that between today and tomorrow we will conclude this phase to be followed by the national centralization and general tabulation of the results, which should take place by the 24th of this month," said Cuinica.

Nevertheless, the CNE spokesman said that there is a chance that the results will be known before the deadline, given the pace of work at district and provincial level.
