The PODEMOS party, which supports Venâncio Mondlane's presidential candidacy, denounces alleged manipulation of preliminary results put forward by the District Commissions.

Speaking at a press conference on Monday (14), the party's president, Albino Forquilha, said that the data provided so far does not reflect the reality at the polls.

On the same occasion that he discussed the possibility of Venâncio Mondlane becoming the party's president, Forquilha accused the electoral bodies of obeying orders from above to manipulate the process. Forquilha also says that there is an attempt to put the Renamo party in second place.
