The National Institute of Meteorology (INAM) forecasts strong winds with gusts of up to 70 kilometers per hour for the end of today, which could stir up the sea and generate waves up to five meters high.

It also predicts a sharp drop in the maximum temperature, local light rain and gusty winds in the coastal districts of Maputo, Gaza and Inhambane provinces.

INAM therefore calls on citizens to observe various precautionary and safety measures in the event of strong winds.
