MC Bandeira, who was involved in mobilizing voters during the election campaign of the independent candidate for the presidential elections on 9 October, Venâncio Mondlane, has been the target of a proposal to abandon the candidate.

In a video circulating on social media, the man himself, together with another citizen, says that a blank check came to him on the eve of Venâncio Mondlane's reception in the city of Nacala, Porto, the place chosen for the closing of the vote hunting campaign.

They say that the proposal to stop following the caravans of the candidate supported by the Podemos party was made by telephone. They said that, promptly, the response was contrary to the expectations of the "enticements".
